The Series 7 turntable was designed as a professional transcription unit, to provide the highest possible levels of audio performance from an elegantly simple, dependable and user-friendly unit by using a minimum number of very high quality precision engineered parts. The S7 system was designed for both dedicated audiophiles and professional users. It is easy to set up and use, refreshingly practical and forthright. Seriously engineered for music. Zen. The turntable is supplied with a record mat fabricated from pure graphite, though other materials may be substituted to provide an alternative acoustic impedance to the disc in play. A record clamp is also supplied. The module, or turntable chassis, is a massive stainless steel disc into which the turntable bearing is built, and onto which the armboard is affixed.
